The 60-foot dome purchase by LG Electronics, a GLOBAL PARTNER OF FORMULA 1™ and A TECHNOLOGICAL PARTNER OF FORMULA 1™, appeared at the  at the 2009 FORMULA 1™ ETIHAD AIRWAYS ABU DHABI GRAND PRIX, in Abu Dhabi, UAE, November 2009.  This was the first ever Grand Prix held in Abu Dhabi at the Hermann Tilke designed Yas Marina Circuit and was the last of 17 meetings of the Grand Prix season.  

The DomeGuys geodesic dome was transformed into an LG showroom, increasing their media awareness as the OFFICIAL CONSUMER ELECTRONICS, OFFICIAL MOBILE PHONE, AND OFFICIAL DATA PROCESSOR OF FORMULA 1™.  The dome structure further exemplified their "hi-fi technology".
