Question: Can geodesic domes be used as homes?

Answer: Absolutely! Geodesic Domes make wonderful homes. Our domes can be outfitted with interior walls and floors, plumbing, electric, heating and cooling. If you can do it in a regular house, chances are you can do it in a geodesic dome home.

Question: Are geodesic dome homes eco-friendly?

Answer: YES! The circular shape of a geodesic dome allows for better air-flow which helps to reduce the amount of energy needed to heat and cool a rectangular area. Additionally, our domes can be equipped with various alternative energy sources. A low voltage wiring system can be installed and supplied with any alternative power source- wind, solar, or hydro-electric generators.

Geodesic domes are a strong and efficient structure. They combine maximum strength and minimal construction materials. Our materials can be recycled and have a long-life. Domes are a high-quality product at a competitive price, and can last up to 20 years. Replacement roofing on standard homes will generally cost $5,000 or more every ten years or more. The domes create the roof and walls, versus the installation on a standard home.

We provide the dome frame and cover, however, we are always available to help guide clients through the process of turning their dome into a home.
